Research Council Grants

Research Council Grants: Applying

Faculty Applicants: Please carefully review the Spring 2026 Guidelines for Research Council Grant submissions. Applications are due January 31st at 11.59 pm.

Research Council Grants are available to Texas A&M University-San Antonio faculty and are awarded to support research, scholarship, and creative achievement conducted by tenured and tenure-track faculty members with an earned doctorate or a discipline’s terminal degree. Funds are commonly provided to support the initiation of new projects or in disciplines for which securing funds from other sources is particularly difficult. These funds cover costs associated with continuing research projects. Please review the guidelines carefully as any proposal not meeting guidelines will be immediately removed from consideration.

If you have any questions after reading both the Grant Application and Guidelines, please contact the Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs at orsp@tamusa.edu
