I interned at TAMUSA in 2017 and started as the Testing Center Coordinator in 2019 after 13 years as a Mathematics Teacher. I shifted to the Assistant Director of Testing and TSI in spring 2024. I'm happy to be your representative on the staff council. I first joined Texas A&M-San Antonio in February 2022 as an administrative assistant for the Academic Advising office but have since transitioned to the Admissions Specialist role for Admissions Processing. I have a collective 10 years of service in higher education across two states. I look forward to representing my fellow colleagues in this role.

Hey everyone! I have been a part of the Jaguar family since 2023 and have lived in San Antonio since 2018. I worked in K-12 for 15 years before transferring over to higher education. I am currently the Assistive Technology Accommodations Coordinator, along with the case manager for students in the dual credit program. I believe my knowledge will assist with students transitioning into university life, especially with students who identify as having a disability. My skills in communicating with students, faculty, and staff from a variety of populations will help me be an effective member of the staff council. I am truly humbled to be chosen to represent my colleagues and serve the institution on a higher level.

I have been a part of the TAMUSA family since 2018. I currently handle digital resources, library technology, and statistics for our library and recently started providing Excel and Word workshops for our patrons to share my experience and secrets I have gained over the years with any who would seek to learn.  I love helping people connect to the knowledge that they can use to achieve their goals.

Michelle Anguano has dedicated nearly 11 years to Texas A&M University-San Antonio, where she serves as an academic coach and the program manager for the Academic Recovery Program, LEAP. With a deep passion for student success, Michelle is committed to empowering students by providing a wide range of resources and guidance to help them reach the graduation finish line. In addition to her work with students, Michelle serves on the staff council as the EEO 3 representative, collaborating with colleagues to recognize and support the outstanding efforts of faculty and staff. She believes in celebrating the invaluable contributions that drive the university's mission of excellence and is dedicated to fostering a supportive and thriving academic community.

Hello everyone! I joined the Advancement Team as the Philanthropic Grants Officer in late 2026. Before that I was a grant writer across a few fields in the nonprofit world; in a past life I was a researcher of work, teachers, and labor movements. My goal is to build community through writing, bringing the San Antonio community and Jaguar community together to build a supportive campus for all students!

I joined Texas A&M University-San Antonio in 2022, and as someone who grew up on the South Side of San Antonio, it truly feels like coming home. I have over 10 years of experience working in higher education and currently serve as the Senior Research Compliance Coordinator in the Office of Research Compliance. I am excited to contribute to the continued growth of TAMUSA and am honored to serve on the Staff Council. As a representative, I am committed to being a strong advocate for all staff.

He has been the director of the Enrollment Services Center at Texas A&M University-San Antonio since 2018. With over 20 years of experience in higher education, he is passionate about supporting students and has dedicated his career to enhancing their academic journey. He enjoys serving students and helping them navigate all their enrollment needs and challenges with care and commitment. Douglas’s professional background includes extensive experience across Student Affairs, Student Life, Campus Recreation, Athletics, and, most importantly, Enrollment Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, and he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree at Tarleton State University. Outside of work and academics, Douglas enjoys exercising, playing video games, and building Lego sets with his son. He enjoys traveling with his family and visiting new places and adventures!

Hello everyone, I started my Jaguar journey in the fall semester of 2021 as a transfer student from Palo Alto College and shortly after joined the university work force as a student worker for the transfer team as well. During my undergraduate journey I transferred over to the budgeting team and then started my professional career with them as well shortly after I graduated in the fall semester of 2023. Then around the start of the fall 2024 semester, I transferred once again over to accounting services and have been with the team since then. I look forward to the opportunity of providing events and services that fellow staff members may enjoy.

Excited to be a part of our Jaguar community! I currently develop programs for Internships across campus and our community, managing programs to pay students for unpaid experiences, developing university-wide program/policy initiatives, creating engaging student learning opportunities, as well as oversee innovative project developments within the internship field. I am also honored to be the recipient of the Texas A&M University- San Antonio’s Annual “On a Mission to Excellence Award” in 2023 and in 2025. As a strong connector and resource provider, it is my passion to engage with staff across campus in this new staff council role. I hope to take the talents I have in my internship related work for employers, faculty, staff, and students to continue to enhance career and experiential learning success across campus!

First-generation college graduate and proud daughter of an immigrant mother, I hold an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University and a B.A. in Communication from Texas A&M International University. A San Antonio native, I am honored to serve at an institution whose student-centered mission supports lifelong success. Since joining the Jaguar Family in 2021, I have leveraged over 15 years of higher education experience across both public and private institutions. I am committed to fostering an inclusive workplace culture and creating safe environments where students can thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Miguel, our dog Chapo, and loved ones. I also enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, planting, and crafting.

Hello everyone! I joined Texas A&M University–San Antonio in 2022 as the Executive Director of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships. I’m a certified financial aid administrator with over 15 years of experience in higher education and completed my DBA- Leadership in 2024. I am passionate about making college more affordable and helping reduce barriers that can make accessing financial aid challenging for students. I am honored to serve as a Staff Council representative and look forward to continuing to support and advocate for the Jaguar community.

Originally from West Texas, I moved to San Antonio in December 2023 and currently serve as a Program Coordinator for Campus Activities within Student Life. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music from The University of Texas Permian Basin in 2022 and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration at Texas Tech University. I am passionate about creating meaningful student experiences and fostering community within higher education settings. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends, and finding joy in the little things.

I have just recently joined the Jaguar family in March of 2025 in Recreational Sports as the Business Coordinator. I worked in K-12 for 15 years before joining Higher Ed. I may have only been here for a year but have already experienced so much. I am excited to be apart of the growth and development for staff and students. I am here to help and serve in any way I can for the betterment of the University. I have 3 wonderful kiddos that are all now of college age. Patricia Cubeta Zibluk, J.D., brings over three decades of distinguished administrative leadership in public higher education across Connecticut and Texas. She currently serves as the Director of the Office of International Affairs at Texas A&M University–San Antonio, a role she has held for three and a half years following five years as Director of Sponsored Programs. With more than 40 years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and interpretation, Ms. Zibluk has also served as Union President and contract negotiator for the AFSCME-SUOF Chapter at Southern Connecticut State University. Her extensive background includes over 35 years of service in higher education administration, where she has consistently championed research, faculty and staff empowerment and international engagement. Ms. Zibluk holds a Juris Doctor degree and has been a member of the Texas A&M University–San Antonio community for Eight years.
